Not only has the catwalks graced us with minimalist clothing, models have also been sporting minimalist make-up to compliment their outfits. This means there is a pairing back of colour, focusing mainly on the natural shades of the skin and highlighting the cheekbones and lips with the slightest bit of colour.

I have noticed for Spring 2010, minimalism has played as a great inspiration for many designers. They have looked at perfecting a clean cut and design. This attention to clean cuts and designs is wat i am trying to achieve in my collection, but with small touches of detailing.

This tweed dress is gorgeous. The drape along the collar of the dress hangs beautifully. Though it is in such a heavy fabric, the draped collar creates a feminine illusion, which is a great juxtaposition from the look and feel of the fabric.
